And finally Thanksgiving!

I have definitely been a slacker on updating my blog. I am just now posting pictures from Thanksgiving. We had a great time in Provo and Brigham City this Thanksgiving. Here are a few pictures from our holiday trip.

This is not Raspberry Lemonade - this is Grandma's famous punch. Ashley and I can't have a Thanksgiving without Grandma's famous punch!

Annual story time at the Johnson Thanksgiving sleepover. Grandpa Chad always reads to the kids before they go to sleep. Then the adults get to party! :)

Baby update. . .

This is just a quick update on how the baby is doing. I am a little behind on this, but I thought I would share the information anyway. I had my first ultrasound about 4 weeks ago (see I am way behind!) It was so cool! The baby had a good heartbeat and was squirming and kicking like crazy. The baby didn’t stop moving and flipping around – I definitely have a James Johnson in my belly. We then had another doctor’s appointment on Monday for the 15 week check up. We got to hear the heartbeat and once again the nurse said the baby was actively moving! These doctor’s appointments start to make things seem a little more real. Also the fact that my clothes are getting a little tight, but I won’t go into that! The doctor told me in the next couple of weeks my belly should start to show and then I won’t be able to hide it anymore. That is exciting, but it also is still the stage where people are not going to know for sure if I am pregnant or not. That is always awkward. We will be finding out what we are having January 21st and I am so excited! I am kind of hoping for a girl, but for some reason I feel like I am having a boy. Maybe that is because there are so many boys in the Johnson family, I feel like I am sure to add to the bunch! I will keep everyone posted on my next ultrasound and I promise I won’t wait this long next time.

Fun with the Fam

I know this post is a little late, but we had so much fun going to Provo for my Mom's birthday and I wanted to share some pictures.

If you can't tell here, we are pretty much wearing the same shirt and no we didn't plan it :)

I love, love this picture! My Grandma and Mom look so pretty

and cutting her cake :)

I also wanted to include some fun pictures from our getaway trip to SLC. It is hard for James and I to drive down to Provo so much, so we decided to meet half way and hang out in Salt Lake. We did some shopping, went to a movie and out to dinner. We should definitely make this a more frequent trip :)

What a bunch of weirdos!

I love this picture!

Halloween

We weren't able to see all of our nieces and nephews dressed up for Halloween, but we were able to see Shelby and Darant! Here are a few pictures of these way cute kids. . .

Ok now I had to add these videos for fun. The first one, Darant wanted to show me his magic trick of the disappearing Kit Kat. So funny and totally not what I expected! And the second one he was imitating Grandpa Chad :) Haha!

Ashley's 21st Birthday!

A couple weeks ago was my sister's 21st birthday. We had so much fun! James and I went to Provo and celebrated her birthday with the whole family. I also got a new haircut! I randomly decided I was sick of my same hairstyle. So, when I got to Provo I booked an appointment with someone I didn't know (very brave of me) and chopped off 6 inches. I never do anything to my hair unless I go to my hairstylist, but I had this sudden urge to cut it off right then! Good thing I like it! Below are a lot of pictures from the weekend :)

These two are crazy!

We went to the park and played around with Larry's Revo car. This thing goes so fast!!! Don't worry, James almost hits me with the car :)

USU Softball Alumni Game. . .

Here are a few pics from my Alumni game. I really miss playing! Slow-pitch just isn't the same :) I also miss being with all of the girls. Sometimes things were crazy and we maybe saw too much of each other, but it was all worth it!

James took this picture and isn't he quite the photographer :)

This video of Darant at my softball game is so funny! He is quite the little dancer and he was really breakin' it down in between one of the innings. Then all of sudden he realized everyone was looking at him and got super embarassed. What a cutie!

After my game, we went to the USU vs. Utah football game. This was their first home game and I am so excited for football season! Too bad we got killed :)

Another cool effect from my camera. . .

So I know this picture is a little random, but I think it is adorable! I love, love my nieces and newphews.

New Camera!

So, I dropped my camera, which I have never done before. and the one time I did it broke. They told me I might as well buy a new one because it would be so much to fix. It drove me crazy not having a camera so what did I have to do - go buy a new one immediately. . . hehe! Below are a few pictures taken from my new camera. I can pick certain colors in the picture, and then everything is black and white except for the color I choose. It is so cool!

After the Peach Days softball tournament, James and his brothers all decided to buzz their heads. Actually James, Jake, and Jarom did - but not John. However, Jarom cut a piece of John's hair so he would have to buzz it. :) Let's just say John was not too happy. I think they all look so good though!

Poor John!

I love, love this picture! With my camera I picked out James' skin color. It also pulled some color from the couch, but everything is black and white. Doesn't he look so good?!
